Lithuanian President Antanas Smetona and his escort - his wife Sofija Smetonienė, Minister of Education Konstantinas Šakenis, Chairman of Klaipėda port management, Chairman of Klaipėda teacher society Ernestas Galvanauskas and others - are met in the square.
